The Japanese Society of Nephrology (hereinafter referred to as the "Society") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and, in order to handle personal information appropriately, will comply with laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information and will endeavor to protect personal information held by the Society in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy").

We collect personal information (such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address) from customers to the extent necessary to provide services in line with the Society's business objectives, to compile a membership list, and to carry out research and investigations, as well as Society business. We will properly and carefully manage the personal information provided by customers and implement necessary and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.

Regarding disclosure and correction of personal information by the person himself/herself

If the individual requests disclosure of personal information collected by the Society, the Society will disclose that information after verifying that the requester is the individual. In addition, if the individual requests correction, modification, deletion, etc. of their personal information, the Society will respond promptly within reasonable limits.
